did you paint them in place or off the car???
hand painted or sprayed??
great tidy looking job

I painted them on the car with a 1" paint brush and a tin of Hammerite direct to rust paint mate, hardest part was prepping them and cleaning them up :happy2:

Really happy with the way they have came out  :happy2:
Prep is the key isn't it, painting is the quickest part of the job. Looks good, you've inspired me to tidy mine up!

Gone but not forgotten :-)

Washed it...went 100 mile round trip for 5 gallons of 101 octane-unleaded at $90 for Saturday...mineral spirit blow-by for intake valves...min.spir. in tank for injectors...emptied everything from inside, except seats, not needed for 12 sec. runs...danced for no rain Saturday ;p ...added a bit of oil...went to the gtg tonight and stayed out of trouble ;p ...drove all the fuel out of it down to 0 miles in prep for the race fuel...put the front sway bar in the back to be ready for its install tomorrow...ummm, that's it ;p

Today I got the slutty red-head ready for tomorrow's 1/4 mile runs. I installed the upgraded lpfp by (USP/VAG TTR) in the tank, and hell...since I had to remove the lower rear seat, I went on and completely removed the backrests as well. The backrests are heavee! Tank was just about empty so went ahead and added the race fuel and changed files to race. I kept the original lpfp to mod-up for next time.

Put a 4 hour stint in with some bilt Hamber clay, the new Mer polish and a layer of dodo blue velvet.
My neighbour came out and asked me if I have problems. :stupid:

Looks shiny so worth the mental stability questions!  :booty:
