I know. The last government was a coalition with the Green party. They pushed for really big tax on large cc cars and got it.

I just paid €710 for mine, so when I move to England £260 will be loose change.

This morning drove to heathrow to drop the parents off so they could go on holiday! Fun. "Jon is your suspension standard?" "yes  :innocent:"

Then drove to work to find we have a new vehicle!! A Skoda Scout! Drove it for the first time today, on the 15th mile :/  Clearly I didn't rag it as that would not be good, even by my standards. Now normal vehicle is a focus estate. Jury's still out. Drove very well up to just outside Bedford where 3 plane loads of illegals were being shipped out at Yarlswood detention centre. My job was to say they were fit to fly when if they faked illness. Had quite a lot. Fun day, Knackered.com but happy to have a new german car to rag round in

Put the golf on some home made ghetto ramps to check my under tray as a mate said he seen it rattle about when I booted it.

Bloody vw sheered the 3 bolts that secure it to the sub frame during a service. To sheer all 3 then tape it on is pretty bollocks.

Vw linwood btw.
