Full pics of the car with Climair wind deflectors. I didn't bother with the rears, I think they blend in well enough with the rear tinted windows.

Had all my coil packs replaced FOC at VW  :jumpmove:

When I went to collect they told me how dangerous the brakes on my car were and that it shouldn't be driven so they had priced me up for new discs and pads for £230, should have seen the ladies face when I said I'm a mechanic (I'm not)  :surprised:

"What's dangerous about them? I hope your tech isn't referring to the surface rust on the disks because it hasn't been driven for a month"

"Well ermm they aren't dangerous, it's just we thought you might want them done"

Ordered some Climair wind deflectors yesterday afternoon and they arrived today, great service. Never been keen on the look of these but these look quite OEM thankfully! Should be useful in these coming months.

Now just need to try and take the stickers off!

Look decent Mandy :happy2:

I have been thinking about these, especially for the winter, so ordered some HEKO ones :happy2:

Well I took some pics of car with Heko deflectors fitted. Still not sure on the back yet. They're not stuck in yet. Still got the sticky tape cover on.

I had full gt mudflaps aswell before getting the gti skirts. Think I need to buy gti mudflaps now.

Anybody know if they're marked GTI or can you get plain ones?

nah there's no GTI logo. if you're referring to the fronts all thats different is the cutout that goes around the skirts.

i had some on mine, for 1 winter but decided against keeping them for the following year as i wasn't impressed with their performance. Try ebay though as slightly cheaper than dealers, even though some VW dealers sell them on ebay they're still cheaper than buying them over the counter at your local VW!  hmmmmm
