Got a few bits sorted.....

Helix Clutch with a new DMF
Vibra-Technics Bottom engine mount
Vibra-Technics Dog bone bush
Newsouth boost gauge and vent pod
and Subframe spacer plate/ bolt mod

Best mod today?      ALL OF THEM.

Before they were fitted I was concerned about the harshness of the uprated clutch and the Vibra-technics bits BUT that was totally unjustified, apart from a stiffer pedal (which I prefer) its all very OEM IMHO. Boost gauge is also a must peeps.

Once again, thanks to Mr Kerr at AKS. Top chap.

^^^^ Might just be that Blufin map. Could be worth a call to R-Tech or REVO about a linear map. I know some peeps Bluefins have been MASSIVELY torquey (is that a word) and the clutch is the first thing that goes.

It could be that, the clutch slips in higher gears if I put my foot down, I emailed  superchips to see if they have a different map to try but I've never got a reply so much for good customer service think ill ring them Monday. Do you think linear map won't slip the clutch after it already had slipped?

Gave my Jetta a much needed wash this morning then went out in it to get the xmas tree. On way back one headlight decided to fail so I fitted the Night Breakers that i got from ChrisNI. Good light similar to OEM bulbs.

Hi all

I was not happy with the way the car was sitting and the previous owner told me he changed a spring and I have the receipt from the garage who supplied and fitted it

so I ended up replacing it for a genuine one
