Fitted my GT/sports seats this morning. I had the mission of cutting the air bag plugs and re-connect. Lots of lights on the dash  :scared: till I took it for a drive.

Degudodger - where did you get that AUX IN kit? I take it it's not a VW item?

I'm looking at this myself.

Bought off ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121226622110?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 I believe its a MK6 part but as with most things MK6 it also fits the MK5  :happy2:

Mine was stamped with a part number (can't remember what it is), if it isn't genuine then it is a bloody good copy!

What stereo are you using it on does it just plug into the cd changer slot?
I am very interested in this for my RCD300 mp3 headunit.

RCD510.

It does take the place of a CD player but i'm not sure if it would work with a RCD300.

My GTi is having all its thermostats replaced at my local garage today. Hopefully it will warm up quicker and get to 90 degrees.
