Noticed I had a big white line going down the passenger side of my car when I was leaving for work this morning.....  :fighting:

I almost had a heart attack... thinking someone or something has gone along my precious...

Upon further inspection though, a piece of white string had stuck perfectly end to end on the paint....

LOL.

woke me up for today that's for sure.

Car went in a couple of days ago to have an mot, secondary thermostat fitted, a pre-cat removal and for good measure I am getting my wheels done in Audi Dolphin Grey.  :driver:
Hoping to get it back this weekend.

Noticed I had a big white line
I used to get that whenever I'd just washed the car. Then realised it was a reflection off the white line on the road.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

It almost brought a tear to my eye as I walked towards it... I hate things like that...

Very happy with it, wish I'd done it ages ago!!

Doing this tomorrow! What screws must be removed to allow the foot rest panel to come out?

Here is a guide that I used to do it, shows exactly where they are:

For reference, I found a 5.5mm drill bit to be the perfect size for doing the holes  :happy2:
