After fitted the xenon headlights i adjusted them to the best of my ability but the passenger side seemed to be too far out horizontally. After trying a couple of times to adjust them properly i gave up and took the car to my local indie this morning. Dropped the car off at 8am and by 8.30am they were done. Not a mod but at least i know i'm not blinding people now

^^^^ Had my new Xenons levelled too yesterday after having them fitted the other day as my passenger side was so high it was blinding everyone from other road uses to low flying passenger aircraft. 10 minutes later and £10 latter all's good.

I am one sensor away from a weekend of frustration, bleed knuckles and repeated posts asking for advice. Plans have been put on hold for the moment due to lack of funds, and job!

Is there a list of the parts that I'll need for that somewhere?

I picked up a gti valance from tps, I took it all the way to my body shop and it turns out it doesn't come with a towing cover so my body shop said I need to get it 1st. So now I have to go all the way back to tps to order one and another journey to pick it up

Really isn't worth the time or money.. Cars legal and if your garage has set them mid scale then it's not worth the hassle.

IMO

finally spent a whole day tidying up the area that's always let the look of the car down.. The brake calipers and hubs.
Purchased a wire wheel , and set to work getting rid of all the old paint off the hubs.

Managed to use a true tornado red to keep the OEM colour rather the hamerite orange red. Going to replace the retaining clips next week instead of my painted ones  :ashamed:, but now with her freshly refurbed black gloss detroits , is looks like new
