Booked in my Ed30 for cambelt and water pump change for £299. Got a nice discount for being a very good customer and friends in the right places within my local dealer   :innocent:

Started to clean the Golf yesterday but had to stop after 5 hours due to "Clayers thumb" so finished it today. Two clay bars later and its starting to look a hell of a lot better.

Sorry about the hurried photos.

Got it back.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Got a clean for passing another 'special' MOT, amazingly has identical emissions as Toyota parked next to it!

Also track day booked if anyone fancies it:  http://www.clubmsv.co.uk/car-home/event-details.aspx?productid=2234

All the carbon is OSIR, you do have to fix the surround with a screw into your front bumper though.
