Yes, if it had been in the other space then poss more damage i think, most of it is cosmetic, have demanded a new bumper as i wont be accepting it back if its been filled etc, new headlight, new grill surround, lower lip spoiler, lower grill piece, bonnet sprayed.  Not sure whats leaking behind, so maybe bittle has gone or its the washer jets leaking etc.

Yep, never had insurance stuff go through as quickly as this, hire car was there next day (mini cooper s ) and then taken away today.  But by all accounts i should have got another golf as like for like!!

Met up with Degudodger and he coded in my indicators as drl's top bloke! Also scanned and cleared some faults!!!

In having his second timing belt kit a bit early, with a new thermostate being fitted too.

Black grill fitted

Crap photo i know but it had just started raining so it had to be a snap and run.

7-8 layers of paint, it would have been less but the lacquer kept going matte so it was rubbed back TWICE. Decided not to use lacquer in the end.
