Ordered up a new cam follower for the HPFP.  Thought it was about time to make a precautionary replacement as my GTI creeps towards 80k.  Looking forward to carefully doing battle with the banjo bolt!
OEM+ 2005 GTI DSG (high factory standard spec and upgraded with S3 alloy hubs, S3 alloy wishbones, Bilstein B8s and VWR springs by my own hands) owned since 2008 and still loving it!

Well after attempting and failing on getting passenger sidelight bulb out, it now looks like a light off jobbie as the clips appear to have come undone on the light holder... Meh

got a set of PS3's for the front... impressed with the wet weather grip so far  :driver:

also ordered red trim carpet mats as the drivers is getting worn, 'GTI' seat handle inlays and some red tyre valves to replace the god awful green ones they put on earlier (maybe to signify the nitrogen or just a branding exercise?)

Boot pop now working

Quite a cool little mod
It will not POP so well when it cools down in the winter...if it turns out to be like most and mine. But it is nice when it works properly  :drinking:
