Just bit the bullet and ordered new dv and revo pcv fix, hope this sorts out the sluggish feel and slightly lumpy idle

Out of interest, what do you do when you do a "winter protection"?

It varies from person to person, but for me it would be to give the car a good clean, i.e, snow foam, wash, de tar, clay then give it a couple of coats of wax to add protection to the paint and make it easier to clean during the winter months

What Benny said plus window sealant, wheel sealant and leather + mat sealants on the inside.

Fitted cherry red Hazard light to mine.
Looks great in daylight but is now a much brighter glowing red at night.
I notice the reflection in the top of the windscreen.....LoL

I don't seem to remember if the Std. hazard light illuminated at all.

Installed all white internal LEDs, including glovebox & boot, with red in the passenger footwell. Ran out of time (the missus called me in to change the baby's arse!) before I could get round to the driver's footwell, so will do that tonight with a torch! Sold my old whitewormed 18" Monzas finally
How did she know?

Finally finished painting my Monza's in Plasti Dip matte black paint!
Cheaper than a refurb and just as effective in my opinion
