Sold the GTI  :sad1:

Sad times! What do you have now?

Got me a Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Black Edition. Lovely little car but I am really gonna miss the GTI!

Love your start up screen! How could I do that on my Kenwood bud?

Copy any pic (.jpg) in usb drive.
(follow your HU screen size resolution. In my case its 800x480)

Press reset+SRC+eject buttons simultaneously.

Then release reset button only while holding the other two buttons.

It will allow you to choose to change the startup image. Select OEM, browse your pic from the USB and select.

Restart the HU.

That should do it.
If you need the pic, send me an email.
I will share what I have. And you can change the background photo as well.

Hope that is clear enough . Sorry am replying quickly using my phone at the moment

Took the GTI for a service. Ended up with a new Rev.G DV, new cam follower and a superpro subframe insert. Have to say a MASSIVE thank you to vRSAlex from AKS tuning. Really great place and the only place my car will be going from now on.

Mine was a pre-reg one, so i got a good deal. It is three months old but is still a new car with only delivery miles on it. Paid just over 11k instead of the list price of just over 15k.

It's like chalk and cheese. The drive back from Bedford was way too much fun! But I need better tyres, traction control light was almost constantly on :signLOL:
