Today was a good day...the sun is shining, it's almost the weekend and I've had my new wheels fitted !

Removed the rear breather tube to dislodge the check valve inside. I found the tube to be full of oil and now am hoping that the new valve cover will reduce this condition as it was causing little puffs of smoke when I began to roll from each stop.

I think I will do a rear pcv tube delete soon though, and then add a VTA catch can after I get this: http://www.performancebyie.com/integrated-engineering-rear-breather-blockoff-plate-for-transverse-2-0t-fsi-tsi-engines

Fitted USB charging socket hard wired to fuse box, cleaned and waxed the car, hoovered inside, treated the leather. Fitted new pressed plates too.

Friday fitted a RNS-510 version P and a cherry red hazard switch. Yesterday went to a friend's house to get all the gadgets fitted. It went well.

Got rid of the 3M carbon fiber wrap on my center grill and fitted the "Edition 30" badge bellow the "GTI" badge.
Don't mind the bugs's massacre on the car's front end...


Mk6 Golf Climatronic fitted. This version doesn't have auto air recirculation, so I don't get AQS missing error.


OPS front and rear sensors.


Mk6 Golf rear view camera.


Door warning lights with new version of the 3D LED.


Also got other mods done that I don't have pictures: rear footwell lights, updated the Bluetooth module wiring (now voice command works and the sound from Bluetooth Audio streaming is stereo), fitted brushed metal tipped fuel door switch and fitted a new airbag ring (old one was looking too worn).

Tell me about it. Our area isn't too bad and certainly isn't a crime hotspot so i'm somewhat stumped as to why anybody would want four slightly white wormed centre caps.
