Yesterday, took her back to revo dealer to try and get to the bottom of my delay issues. Spoke with one of the guys from revo headquarters about what's been going on, due to the very poor weather, it would have been pointless logging, so we came to an agreement of trying their dsg software to see it it cures the issue. First attempt failed as they could not connect to the tcu with either their software or vcds. So they connected their coding equipment up and got access and done a solenoid reset and adaptation on the gearbox then tried again with their revo software. Got connected but were unable to flash anything off or onto it, so they have sent the logs they managed to take from it to their head office to find out why.

Went for a GTR instead of RS6  :sad1:

But love it! Wonder how it will compare to the R!

Never thought about the new R420? Or even the Oettinger 500R with 511 HP at just 150.000 €.

Passed the ITV (MOT) today. The test took 4 mins  :stupid:

As the car is now over 10 years ITV will be needed every year. Cars under 10 its every two years.

Found some small traces of oil when car was on the rack, but unable to immediately detect the origin from underneath. Took it home and pulled the right fender liner off. Found oil on the turbo outlet and no higher. Removed the outlet and saw oil had been passing by the AWE outlet o-ring. Found a similar size @ NAPA, bit smaller overall OD and a bit more girth, and reinstalled the bits. It eliminated the 'new' turbo spool whining and hopefully put an end to the leakage.  :drinking:
