Yesterday had the MOT done (no advisories), fresh coat of Colinite 915 and a full tank of V-Power. Can't believe this car is 11 years old on Tuesday.

Passed 100,000 mls on the way to Elsecar at the races in Doncaster.
Nice day out, surprisingly few traders there given the amount of advertising it got.

Just fitted some team heko wind deflectors but also just had her in the body shop to paint the rear bumper.

Yesterday, went to the fist of the season 'Classic cars on the Prom' in Bournemouth. Lots of nice classics there, but it started raining as I arrived, and there was a lovely Black Mk 1 GTI just leaving - anyone on here?

This event is on most Sundays, if anyone is visiting Bournemouth this season. It's just behind the BIC, on the promenade, overlooking the sea and beach - a great spot, especially when the sun is out (4.00-6,00pm).

Fitted some 36mm 3 SMD LED FESTOON NUMBER PLATE LIGHT BULBs on my lunch break (well did one as it was raining) the one I fitted was error free which is nice. think I got the link on here somewhere but i'll repost http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161374875659

also fitted x2 red and brushed chrome GTI Seat Lift Wrench Seat Inserts which I think look subtle and almost OEM, but a nice touch for £5 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231843120721

...and then found these from later that day when at TunerCoalition's GTG in McMinnville OREGON...

Yesterday had new rear calipers fitted and tonight managed to tilt the Armrest enough to adjust the hand brake.  Bit of a fiddle to say the least!

Replaced the G247 high fuel pressure sensor...still need to run data to see if pressure has gone back to 140bar instead of its recent 109.9bar. I will report any success or failure soon. Have to replace one upper front strut bearing tomorrow.

Update here because not fixed: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,106340.msg1030963.html#msg1030963

Replaced my tail lights with Edition 30's (Darker), and now looks much better.
Changed the pollen filter
(Nice and easy jobs for a VW Noob)

Gave the car a good clean today, pleased with the results and shine from just using snowfoam and Meguiars gold class.
