Changed the nsf drive shaft and took her for a wee blast about, thinking its just me, but feels a little down on power, might need to whip of the dv and have a butcher's at that. Anyone torn a rev g on a ko3 yet?

Are your pictures mixed up Shoduchi? Or you've gone back to the stock intake?

Not strictly today but I went to top the oil up the other day, frigging hood release had gone. Cable had decided to detach itself from the latch  :fighting:

I didn't notice any big difference from the Rev G DV, but I can see the boost level with PolarFIS reaching a bit higher sooner than before. The car is still great to push hard. :happy2:

In my country I can't have an aftermarket intake. Some MOT testers won't fail the car with a closed intake fitted but it's always a risk. I preferred to keep the OEM airbox so far (while doing whatever I can to help it), since I'd only fit the VWR intake that isn't cheap. I spent the money on other bits that won't give me troubles. :sad1:

In Portugal. The law here is very strict with modified cars. So strict that a lot of MOT testers and Police officers just give problems when people don't use good quality parts. I'd prefer to have a more balanced law. Open cone filters are completely prohibited. Using an enclosed cone filter might pass or might not pass without troubles, depends on the person (MOT tester or the Police officer) who checks it.

I also emptied my oil catch can yesterday. After 3.000 km/1.864 miles it had at least 1 inch of greasy "coffee" stored.

That's good news to my ears and soon as I have a chance I'll fit it on as I feel something isn't right with my dv.
Shame you have such horrible laws in your country with modified cars and cone filters  :stupid: I must say.

Sorry to hear that ! I had no idea how strict it was over there. I've just seen your build thread and worked out what the pictures are showing. Your car is very nicely sorted despite the restrictions  :happy2:
