They eliminate all the air space within as well. My mount kit came with an insert and would like those solid inserts instead: http://bshspeedshop.com/bsh-fsi-tsi-engine-mount-package/
I went with all three BSH mounts and the bushing was a good fit and slid right in without anything. Thinking I will soon add these though: http://www.ngpracing.com/newstore/034-motorsport-dogbone-mount-pair-density-line-mk5-mk6-b6-passat-cc-audi-a3-8p-tt-mk2.html
Look good and decent price.
What are these like please?. has it finally made the gear changes and launch more solid?.

ok, work done last couple of days and today, AWD rear subfrane, diff, propshaft, hubs, driveshafs, and petrol tank fitted, r32 gearbox and transfer box to, just waiting on APR, AWD downpipe to arrive and all wiring to complete, then a little work on exhaust then all should be done then, unless a deal can be done to upgrade turbo to, but if not 480 horses should be ok for now until funds allow for more.

I don't know because do not have yet...but the ones that have opted away from the insert for these are saying much better and solid.

Right, OK, and yes...these are so much better than oem mounts. I had just a BSH dogbone insert...then added the W.A.L.K....still struggled with wheel hop. The mount kit was the fix though and definitely felt tighter getting power to the road.

Some folks have reported feeling more vibrations from every maker of mounts, but it seems most do not care...or report they don't care about any small amount of vibrations felt because of the trade off.

Thanks again for the update on this, I'll be happy to get a set when funds allow as I hate the fact these oem bushes are weak and prone to tear causing unnecessary stress to the car and me  :signLOL:

What's one of those? I'm  :stupid:

At the moment I have a lower power flex insert and awaiting fiting the vibra technics torque link dog bone smaller bush thay needs pressing out then back in.

Nearly paid £200 for Revo left gearbox and right hand engine mounts but wasn't sure at the time as I've read poor reviews on them so didn't bother. soon I'll be lookimg for some mounts as I've had enough of these oem crap so those will be first before the exhaust fmoc and remap it I find them before the others a member sold some the other day off his R32 but no funds to buy and I think he wanted£180 for both.

Lol oh those  Thanks for the link  :drinking:

I fitted some black polyurethane bushe kit on the front wishbone front and rear bushes when I first started using the car as it sat for 8 months of ownership and it feels a lot more planted but needs to be lowered and also mounts to be changed for stiffer ones. I want the handling done. Still need to fit my t belt and water pump kit on. One Saturday now I have a mate with a garage.

Had what seemed like a pretty bad leak from the driver's side intercooler pipe, on both ends of the pipe (more so on the radiator side).

Couple of o-rings from VW later and... this has been after 3 days and no boot leaks that I can tell of and no oil showing!

Also gave the ole tailpipes a little cleanup with some wirewool and autosol. They come up nicely on top but on the inside edges, there's some heavily baked-on carbon and I just cant shift it. Any ideas on how to without wrecking them?

The right pipe has the most caked on stuff, so ideas welcome! I usually spend an hour with them and as much as I wirewool them on the inside edge, it just doesn't shift!

Also did an oil, oil filter and spark plug change when doing the seals. Engine running well!
