Several hours with a DA polisher ended up looking like this...

Knackered now, but pleased with the results

Had what seemed like a pretty bad leak from the driver's side intercooler pipe, on both ends of the pipe (more so on the radiator side).

Couple of o-rings from VW later and... this has been after 3 days and no boot leaks that I can tell of and no oil showing!

You removed the factory catch-can by adding those new o-rings

Replaced the front bumper today...had the new one sitting in a bedroom since last fall from raccoon damage...waited for one more winter to end and the snow gravel to be mostly swept up. Wasn't a bad job to do...less than 4 hours including my old man breaks  :drinking:

These with textar pads. BBS CH et50 don't fit unless you want to start removing metal with a grinder, dremel etc  Have 10mm spacers and new m14 studs to fit until I find nice wheels  Was thinking TD1.2,1.3. BBS CS5 from http://www.revolution247.com/catalogue/shop-by-category-alloy-wheels-bbs/bbs---cs-5-alloy-wheel-satin-anthracite-with-diamond-cut-face  just need to paint them black

Wouldn't have parked so close to the drain... I'd end up losing a locking wheel bolt or something equally as important  :signLOL:

When I was fitting my dv + on I had no choice and the spline bit fell into the drain but luckily I had some chewing gum on me and a long driver to pull it back out with otherwise that fecking drain was coming out  :signLOL:
