painted the grill stripe red (some tool painted it baby blue ) and painted the brakes

Great looking Candy White GTI but that license plate is blocking the airflow to the IC, so you won't have the best engine output because of it. Unblocked the IC is enough for a Stage 1 map, which is a great mod to do to any turbo engined car.

Wouldn't have parked so close to the drain... I'd end up losing a locking wheel bolt or something equally as important  :signLOL:
That would have been my luck as well!   :rolleye:
When I was fitting my dv + on I had no choice and the spline bit fell into the drain but luckily I had some chewing gum on me and a long driver to pull it back out with otherwise that fecking drain was coming out  :signLOL:

Ever since I bought my R32 a month ago. Had some brake wobble/vibration through the steering.

Put new discs and pads on without any major improvement :( Noticed the slide pins and rubber bushes they slide through were quite manky.

Took a punt and got replacements. Removed the old and filed out the stupid amount of corrosion and steering vibration all gone  :happy2:

Annoyed I wasted £150 on pads and discs when they were not needed :(

Applied Gtechniq C4 trim restore to my grille. Nice original finish now - no more faded plastic look for a minimum of 1-2 years.....

Had what seemed like a pretty bad leak from the driver's side intercooler pipe, on both ends of the pipe (more so on the radiator side).

Couple of o-rings from VW later and... this has been after 3 days and no boot leaks that I can tell of and no oil showing!

You removed the factory catch-can by adding those new o-rings

Haha, I sensible chuckled! Guess what's showing after 3 days of boosting..... Oil!

Fml
Might be due to the hose connector itself. The alloy connector could be bent so that the o-ring isn't enough to create the seal. Next step would likely be replacing the hose. Or, you can find a S3 fmic which eliminates that style connector for clamps.

What do you reckon to the Supernatural wax? I'm nearly out of Purple Haze and thinking of trying it.

It's quite easy to apply as far as hard wax goes. I did it easily on a sunny day ensuring I left just about enough cure time for it to haze. Yet to see how long the protection lasts through. Before this I was using the Gyeon CanCoat spray on sealant with a claimed life of 6 months.
To be honest I read about the best combinations for a silver/light coloured car and these two came highly recommended. The White Diamond Glaze is absolutely amazing though and smells lovely

I sometimes wonder if a spot prevention liquid for the dishwasher would work better...but it does the opposite of wax and causes water to not bead at all.

Hah!   As long as it's safe for the paintwork in varying climate conditions.

 Should I test it? Problem may be that I just waxed it and it may make the dishwasher stuff bead up
