Changed the Nokia Bluetooth/phone system for a vag kit
Battery died half way thru which gave me a heart attack
New battery fitted, it's all back together  now after taking basically the whole dashboard apart
Run down to Manchester for Coldplay tomorrow

Today I:

- changed front disks and pads
- changed wheel center caps
- installed chrome surround headlight switch
- installed chrome tipped window buttons
- washed, dried, polished and waxed
- ordered new drivers side interior grab handle
- ordered new dust caps for wheel bolts
- ordered mk6 window adjuster (another chrome jobbie)
- drank beer

Took front wheels off to check brake pads after warning light came on, plenty of life in them so suspect it's the sensor   :thinking:

I go sensor-less...I look over most bits often enough so things rarely get by me. :drinking:
 
Right now I only have 3mm to 4mm left...so pad exchange is coming  :scared:

@r5gtt good point, will check brake fluid tomorrow, cheers.

@ROH ECHT Seems wise, I've never had a sensor to tell me brake pads were worn out on any of my previous cars, never needed one but when it came on I thought it best to double check.

I'm sure that's low level warning although if the near side pad warning connection is broken then that will also trigger the warning and stay on constant.
