Just got it back from Statller's having a Loba pump fitted, injector replaced, and a few other little bits, as well as the usual informative chat with Steve!

It's now running very well indeed.

Next up... brakes.
You got a loba you beeeech  :slap: I want one of those  :sad1:
On another note glad you've finally sorted your car out.  :happy2:
Yeah the map is requesting lots of fuel and the standard pump just couldn't keep up.

Cheers mate, plan is to keep it clean and tidy, enjoy the power, and put a bit away for some decent brakes. Self-imposed spending ban!
Yes I thought so when you mentioned it on your other post and good thing you did as you don't want detonation in the cylinders if it is prone to happen.

If I do keep the car I'll need a brake upgrade too as the exhaust and other mods are going on soon. may even grab an S3 I  to top it off.
Look out for a mk6 R intercooler, they're essentially the same as S3 but apparently a better design.

EDIT.. And I'd advise you get an uprated pump before mapping. They're beneficial at any stage of tune, but at Stage 2 they can be a real bottleneck, and if you're unlucky like me you'll get fuel cuts. Which is no fun. Especially overtaking.

Ah cheers for the advice  I'll keep an eye out for one of those. straight fit?.

Definitely need an uprated hpfp before remap as I will be going stage two without a doubt. Had that with my reno gtt back in the day and it used to pi** me right off when trying to take off and it'd splutter like crazy then bang the hits you. Thanks again for the advice on the IC

haha you will have your chance once your exhaust is on, you got a full exhaust setup or just Y pipe?

The Diffuser set me back £120 2nd hand but previous owner kept it in mint condition  :happy2:

I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to exhaust so I think I've gone for the Y pipe or the cat back, t's just the back bit I'm having done. Not the full system

What system are you running ?

Me neither mate, mine is just a backbox delete so got that chopped off an Y pipe fitted with 4" Milltek style slash tips. Love the look but also sounds very nice and not too loud when cruising
