Fitted 2 new front wheel bearings which I had custom drilled and tapped to take both Mk5 AND MK4 rims as I want to fit a set of anniversary BBS RC's to my car. See this thread for details if you're interested : http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,110720.0.html

Also fitted and coded a highline dash by myself which was a bit of a pain but proud to say its working 100% so all good!  :happy2:

You've got the old old style mfsw buttons like mine, quite rare.

Wasn't aware of that mate, what are the differences?

The older style buttons don't interface with the dash, so you can use them with the RCD510 upgrade. The source switch button on the left hand side doesn't work on mine though for some reason? Or the mute button for that matter.

I have the RNS MFD2, the source and mute buttons work on mine with that head unit. The only buttons which don't work are the phone buttons as the car doesn't have factory phone installed. I'm currently looking at one of the many android units available with CAN-BUS integration in the hope to have everything in one unit.

What do the newer buttons do on the dash? The rocker switch on the wiper stalk operates my MFD.

Just ordered the last bits and pieces to make the MK60EC01 abs pump work.
Also ordered a new tailgate trim to put on my new tailgate. Didn't want to swap anything old over to the know tailgate, so goal is complete when that arrive.

Hopefully they will arrive during the week so I can get the cluster fitted ASAP :D

I'm not usually keen on this kind of thing but yours does look good. It's all a bit bland in standard trim really. I like the fact the carbon has a bit of gloss to it. Thumbs up from me.

Thanks @AJP and @MIJ_JAGGER , I'm usually the same AJP but they had a few scratches on so thought I'd give it a go, not sure what's involved in doing the cluster Mij?
