This weekend ill be changing my roof aerial & replacing it with a 6R0035501D dab / gps / phone kit / fm - am aerial with all the leads connected to my rns315 dab unit & the 5N0035730C bluetooth unit in readyness to have my mk6 golf white maxidot clocks too be added soon. I know my rns315 has bluetooth builtin but id rather have the separate module for better reception plus im hoping to purchase a rns510 dab in the near future. :happy2:

So today was the day to get this lot fitted & im pleased to say well worth the money approx £75 for aerial & 3x leads...the dab on rns315 works very well & the gps plus phone kit is a big bonus / i decided after speaking to eddie_nl to route all cables along the drivers side roof & behind the speedo clocks.

Used a magic eraser on the steering wheel. Boy it made it look brand new again!

bought myself a private plate to go on the Pirelli. Wasn't pleased with the 19 quid fee from elephant insurance to change the registration but still

What's it like vs a leather cleaner like Dr leather?

It took all the horibble shine off the wheel and made a massive difference. Impressed for the 10 mins it took me. Plus you can buy them for about 50p.

Might apply some leather feed in a week or so but love the way it looks now.

Got my cruise control fitted today. My car is a 2004 model so I had to add the additional wire. All working and very please.

Also removed the rear wiper motor as it had failed. Fitted a flush glass blank. Really tidied up the rear end.

Fitted my replacement climate control panel this morning only to find that once I put everything back again and started her up, I've now got an airbag warning light on.

I had moved both front seats while removing the climate control panel, but I've checked the yellow connector and everything looks ok....

I know this might be obvious, but did you disconnect the battery before pulling the plugs?

Yup, first thing I did!

I'll have a hunt around for fuses to see if there's any that have blown for some reason.

Have you access to VCDS? A scan would be the best start to resolving this..

Lots today. Scanned with VCDS to see what's up with my aircon, Looks like my G65 Sensor has gone bad, so not too much hassle to sort. Some more wet sanding of the worst scratches.

And attched my plaque which I picked up from the post office this morning

Fitted my new Powervalve exhaust. What a great piece of kit. The mechanic who gave me a hand couldn't believe the quality.  Car is running a Rtech Stage 1 remap but car feels soooo much quicker now and is responds instantly.Worth every penny.
