It was the neighbour who lives 3 doors down reversed into it on his way to work. The local VW has a body shop should i take it there?

Sorry for your neighbour mishap. I'd take it to a well reviewed body shop. If that VW is well reviewed it's a good option. Try to ask around where is a good body shop.

Yikes. Gutting to see your own P&J damaged like that. How did he manage to push it 3 metres whilst reversing?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Fitted a central armrest - been after one for a while as missed having one. Much more comfy and was fairly easy to fit. Just need to fit leather padding and rear cup holder compartment.

im after one too... like and price if you dont mind me asking?

@GTI DAZ Price was £45 i think but i know that seller sells others. All depends on if its leather top ect. Link hopefully should work below

New shoes.....

BBS VZ in satin anthracite. Have been looking since before Christmas and couldn’t decide if I should go for silver or anthracite. Happy with the choice I made

Booked in for a timing chain/tensioner etc change....decided that after finding out the car had NO thermostat and sorting that it was rather noisy. Then checked through the history and can find no record, at least back to 50k from 143k of it ever being done :/ And this car was supposed to be nice and reliable :D :D

In the process of having my tyres swapped onto the new rims I was informed of a worrying issue with my Bridgestone Potenzas. The inner sidewalls of both front tyres had begun to separate from the canvas. It was a blowout waiting to happen and cost me extra for two new tyres. Expensive day to say the least

No idea what caused it. Plenty of thread left on the tyres and they have never seen track use so it is a strange one. It was right on the inner edge where thread meets sidewall. Guy in the tyre shop suggested the camber might have caused it

I left my car to finally get the LSD and bigger DSG cooler fitted. Can't wait to drive it again with the new mod. :jumping:
