Love the GSX1100....1984? Back in 1980 those GSX1100's were the beasts to beat. My 1976 Kawasaki KZ900, with jets/intakes/exhaust/sprockets/lowered/stripped and cafe'd, had trouble with those and the Honda CBX 6 cyl. monsters.

My kz900 started out like...

...and ended up a lot like this 1000 with diff wheels and as much black as I could put on it...

Advanced a bit with my Passat CC climate control retrofit (Copying @ChristianK ) waiting for the filler to dry to smooth it out fully

You're getting there mate! :D

Did you use the repo plast glue or did you end up with a solder iron?

Did you use the repo plast glue or did you end up with a solder iron?

Tried the epoxy glue first but it didn’t work out didn’t harden fully (got to about 50% think it was the cold), so I needed up using a soldering iron and two pin nails and joining the two through a weld.

Now I’m just working on the edges to get them nice and straight.

Also did you have to cut two tabs off from the dash just above the two outter circles?

I didn't cut anything at the dashboard, all were done to the frame :)
