Annual bath and MOT both done. It passed with no advisories, which surprised me given it's rather chunky 176K miles on the clock.

What surprises me more is how clean it always comes up after, literally only washing it once a year. As a special treat for passing, it even got a vacuum  :surprised:

Nice to see it shiney
Good new re MOT  :happy2:

Cut a very rusty dust shield off the passenger side rear brake on my lunch.

It's attached with three bolts/nuts and all the shield had rusted out at three points so the noise it was making was loud and nasty sounding.

Whipped off the disc and used tin snips to butcher the shield.

My local garage removed these K03 injectors and replaced them with K04 Injectors.  K04 Conversion is on the way.

I backed into a pillar a few weeks ago, smashing the right mirror turn light. Yesterday the replacement ones came in the mail, switched them both today. They're black and sequential/dynamic, so it updates the look of the mirrors quite a bit! Super happy with the install, so hopefully they'll last despite their aliexpress price point.

Got impatient waiting to see if there were any BF deals and ordered the Macan front brake kit and got it fitted up last night.

Simple to install as it’s a straight bolt on kit but Hel braided lines and a quick brake bleed after.

Will get them bedded in and see how I get on. I’ll be upgrading to R32 rear calipers with discs and pads to match the front at some point in the near future.

Quite liking the monochrome look rather than the red too!

Before and after shot…

Interesting! What is the spec of the kit and where did you source it?

It’s R32 size discs (345x30) and Porsche Macan calipers. You may be able to do it a bit cheaper if you get the Audi Q5 calipers which are the same. Mine are even stamped VAG on the ally casting on the back. They bolt straight on with no additional brackets but if you are running standard wheels you will need spacers. I’m running BBS XR’s ET44. Even with mine the clearance is a fag paper lol

You can get them from a few places but as an example… https://www.vagbremtechnic.com/porsche-macan-front-caliper-kit-with-brake-lines/

Another year/20K miles, another air filter.  A bit dirtier than I was expecting, but it's interesting to see the rather poor air distribution through the stock airbox
