Gave the old girl a wash and fitted a TRC front splitter and rear Whiteline ARB and links. Was a productive day and looking forward to a bit less body roll.

Gorgeous mate loving the front lip been debating to get one myself think I will now after seeing this. I wanted the side skirt extensions but I can't see them anywhere

Cheers mate, have put lots of work into it! I got the splitter direct from TRC so you should be able to get the side skirt extensions from there too…this is from the side…

I have the same worries  I scuffed it twice on the first day but since have been ok. Think the solution is seeing the splitter as being disposable/replaceable

Wouldn't be of much help as I'm in Romania :) It was a leather / home furniture repair shop, plenty of them around here. Cost was 105gbp for the headliner and 125 for the seats.

Not techinacally "TODAY" but I'm happy with it,  sadly left tip won't fit nicely and so plastic is being burned  :sad1:

Bend the hangers a little to make the box sit lower or get hanger rubbers with multiple mounting holes to lower like this

Changed the oil from Liqui Moly 10W60 to Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 10W60, changed oil pickup tube and was about to install the VIS Freewheel but had a nice surprize. One of the previous owners already put in a VIS freewheel and another cut out the balance shafts, leaving only the pump. Great bonus :jumpmove:

Titan Race Pro S is an excellent oil  :happy2:  I used it in my VR6 Turbo years ago after run-in of a forged rebuild to 80K miles, and there was zero wear on any component, and it looked new under the rocker cover

:happy2: Great to hear! I wanted to go for the Millers nano stuff but upon reading some mixed feelings I went for the Fuchs stuff. Was cheaper than Millers and not that much more expensive vs LiquiM

Had an annoying rattle from the rear which was driving me insane over bumpy/crappy roads. It shounded like the boot lid was loose. Took it apart 3 times yesterday and it fried my brain for a couple of hours trying to find the culprit. Luckily a mate with a Sharan dropped by and said it’s the half taillight part on the lid 100%. I was like no way untill he took it off and started jiggling it

The round reflector part surrounding the fog light was loose in there. We ghettoed it away by drliing a small hole and fitting a thin screw to keep it in place and not moving. Problem solved, no more rattles.

Here’s a vid of the noise and pic of the culprit.
