I drove back from northern California today. We spent five days in the Redwoods. I have some amazing pics of the little red rabbit next to some friggin' giant trees, and I hope to get them posted in the next day or so. Some of the trees are larger diameter than my mkv is in length. I hope you like when you guys see them...
Right now, got to get some sleep, later.

Did back brakes today.  14mm spline socket was too long to get in and get other half of the caliper off so just put the pads in for now  :fighting:

I went to visit mine in the bodyshop. Pleased to see the Milltek is on, as is the R32 bumper. Just gotta wait for all the colour coding to be done. Hoping to have it back Tuesday or Wednesday  :party:

Well I've only just seen this thread and have no idea what I was doing on June 12th, but I've been staying with friends on Exmoor which included driving some awesome roads: A396 Tiverton to Minehead, B3224 across Brendon Hills, A39 Minehead to Lynton, all fast and twisty and perfect for a modded GTI with great handling. I had a passenger on the A39 section though who began to feel a bit sick, so I must have been doing something right!

I wish I'd stopped and taken pics of the road for you guys but I was too busy enjoying myself and I'm sure there'll be another opportunity.

One of my best mates live in Tiverton and showed me what his 20vT MKII Gti can do on the said roads  :driver: :jumping:



Today I jump started my car cause I left my side lights on overnight like a tool  :ashamed:.  I also noticed my coolant is a tad below MIN  :confused:
