Ran wire from inside rear view mirror to fuse box and from top of windscreen to fuse box to hard wire sat nav and to put 2 red LEDs in rear view mirror to give ambient red glow around gear stick...

Rear view mirror is a push / tolerance fit and is a an absolute mother to get back on!!!

Went to Kaufland for some shopping and thought I'd use my seat trolley coin

Ordered a new cam follower and fuel filter. Also spliced the broken washer tube together where it broke near the hood(bonnet) hinge.

....Wow! Look at the state of that trolley! That is soooo German - When did you last see a trolley in that tip-top condition in the UK?

Deutschland Uber Alles? <-- It's in their genes I reckon.

Yesterday I put the back seats down and packed my daughter's gear ready to take with her back to Uni. I should have photographed it.

The process of doing so reminded me why I was so wise to have ordered the 5-door rather than 3-door GTI 6 years ago. Such an awesome allrounder!  :notworthy:

Took my 3 week old son out for a drive at 3am to try and settle him.. took the older kids to school and kerbed an alloy due to misjudging a dropped kerb (in sure that had something to do with the 3 week old not sleeping all night) lol
