This was in Stratford east london so they kinda expect there to be a bit of bother when stuff like this happens  :signLOL: plus despite my username on here i'm not at all little so the driver musta layed it on thick when reporting it to his dispatch on the radio, trouble is now i've reported it to my insurer i'm gonna get a hike come renewal anyway so unfortunately calling the bus company won't do much good now  :sad1: thanks for the advice tho for the future  :happy2:

Dave,
I got hit in a car park whilst I was in the shop, other driver drove off but a Golf VI owner saw it and took details. I reported it to police and they took it up. They advised not to involve my insurance but go via a no win-no fee route so I declared it to my insurance company for info only. ( I had actually already reported it before the police came round and then "un-reported" as a claim afterwards)
Any way  I won and got fixed for nothing via a top notch body shop and no premium increase either although it is on the record.
So, are there any witnesses? CCTV footage? Marks on road?
I would call the bus company on Monday and tell them you're taking it further, after all, you're already "accepting" 50/50 so give it a try.
Hope you get fixed up quickly,
Regards,
John

Replaced the oil/filter, fuel filter, and a new cam follower. The cam follower had 12k miles on it. Here's some pic's.

Probably wouldn't have made 15k miles with it. I let it go 12k to reach oil change mileage. Going to change it every 10k miles from now on.
Running tons better after all that.

Bought a whole load of detailing goodies for the winter protection, and promptly put a scratch in the boot.  Went into the garage and ladder somehow fell over and landed on the boot. No dents but there's a PITA scratch that isn't going to polish out.  :fighting:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

No but they can be made to fit the ED30. Greeners managed it!

Not sure Greeners did.

I tried, and TBH it wasn't worth it.  It took some fabrication.  I got them to look ok, but it took several hours.
