If Carlsberg did road side car parking

Just a shame it's illegal as the zig zags denote...   :sad1:

Got round to swapping over my boot tool kit. The car came with just a foam insert, compressor and a can of slime. The slime is now out of date and VW like to inform me of this each time the car goes in. For a new tin it nearly £50  :scared:

So I kept my eye out on ebay and managed to pick up an 18" space saver for £52 delivered. Then £35 for the foam insert including jack and wheel brace from big al (many thanks  :happy2:) So now my puncture repair solution will never go out of date

Not very interesting but abit of pic whoring.

Cheating, but I took the car to VW to have the centre airvent rattle fixed (beware there are two possibly TPS's).

£58 later, no more rattle.

....Very nice indeed! Great idea to re-colour Monza 17's and not many folks have done that.  :happy2:

Not such a great idea not to switch off the wretched Tapatalk sig on every post  :fighting:

Met Richn83 at Wicked Wheels in Guildford to discuss wheel colour for our refurbs, but they were shut. So we had a quick chat about our cars, and mine certainly feels quite spartan inside now compared to all Richs' gizzmos.  :ashamed:  :sad1:

RNS 510 is now top of my list after a little demo from Rich.

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.

Fitted badgeless grill onto my EOS, makes a massive difference without the big VW in the centre. FK Automotive are having a sale at the moment and for £51 delivered it was too good to miss.  :happy2:
The reflections of the bushes make it look a bit odd but you get the idea.

John

got the car washed properly and another wheel alignment as the steering wheel was slightly off when driving straight

Also considering 17 inch Monzas refurbed and powdercoated. However it would set me off ca 400ish so for the price perhaps I might just get 18 inch TD 1.2. What do you think? Don;t really need 2 sets of alloys

Finally cleaned inside my car today. Vacuum, wiped and all the rubbish taken out  :ashamed:

Then decided to try and fix the door card rattle when the stereo is turned up. Got the card off but one of the clips was already lose. And so ordered 10 spares from eBay....

Might replace all of them on both door cards.

Was going to wash it as well....but knackered now. Think I'll keep thinking of ways to spend money on it
