Washed the old girl as its been neglected for about a month due to work and my back problem.  :fighting:

Also bought some DSG extensions... just waiting on them!

Ebay ones... carbon fibre look.   :happy2:


....I haven't seen the eBay ones in the flesh yet but I think they are real carbon but applied to the front face only. The expensive TID's like mine are carbon throughout so I get to touch the stuff  :evilgrin:

Ordered them tonight.........................can't wait to get them on!!! :happy2:
'05 GTI - laser blue, 5dr, DSG, blue glass, heated leather, highline, cruise, sat nav, 10 speaker stereo,MFSW, xenons, 18" Monza, puddle lights, Ipod, retractable mirrors, factory tints, winter/summer mats, bootmat, luggage net, mudflaps, tailored blinds, x-tec plate leds - always looking for more OEM options.......pretending the pikey paddles are OEM+!!

If I were crapping money at the moment i would buy the TID ones for sure as the look much better. But for the money these will be fine.  :smiley:

Me too - although  :driver:TBH I would have bought them if they were just OEM colour as I just want to be able to hold the wheel properly whilst changing gear!!

well before the car went in for its new wings thought i would have a go at wrapping my rear bumper


never done this before and took me a couple of hours to do but only cost me about £5 to it myself so worth a go

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

Just took her for a lambs wool wash at my local jet wash after a 750 miles weekend trip.

On the way there, my diagnostic light came on, so I swore a lot and hit her.

I also ordered the paddle extensions from eBay. Have wanted a set for a while now, with at least some carbon fibre, after seeing RR's (to go with my steering wheel insert), can't wait.

Dropped off the ED30 to have rear tailgate rust spot sorted under warranty, will be glad to get it back as they gave me a girly Golf Cabriolet for courtesy car until friday!  :sad1:
