Went for a nice drive down the motorway to test my new ITG intake.

Enough said...

Glad to see you got it fitted. How does it feel? Did Dave manage to fit it ok?

Have an led light out in the 3rd center brake light ;[
Thanks to the design, that means I will have to replace the spoiler as well as the light, including paint.
I don't get why VW did not make that light removable separately from the spoiler???

There is a thread on this somewhere recently, swapping out the light without the need to remove the spoiler mate!

This weekend i got a few jobs done on my Edition 30 no:240.

Fitted the K&N panel filter which has been sitting in the garage next to the inpro mirror indicator lights.

Another job which i was dying to do was get the bolts and washers in the subframe to get rid of the annoying intermittant clunk.

The most annying about that job is that two dealers daybrook and west bridgford had no clue or idea about this complaint.

I had to show then the tech note from vw usa to get the bolts and washers but decided to fit them myself.

Was easy and only took half hour, the hardest part getting the car up on jacks and axle stands!!

So all in all very productive! No more clunk and no thanks to the dealers just to me! so a corona was had! :congrats:

And now to think what to do next? lowered eibachs? or upgrade the hifi.......i am missing some bass and want to hook my iphone in easily.......

Today I drove 530 miles - Rather fast! Really got into the groove but now I'm home my brain still feels it's on the road and I've lost track of what day it is.

Thursday robin......

Driving quickly is always fun. :-) ( unless you've got a 'Laura' in the passenger seat constantly saying 'you make me feel sick') :-)
