Thanks to inspiration from the forum, I fitted jacking pads to my GTI and checked whether they would fit to the better half's VRS too (they do!) so another set will be ordered up next week.  Just such a better way of raising the car with a trolley jack rather than risking the sills!

After this, used my new jacking pads to lift the car and replace both rear drop links with factory fresh genuine replacements.
OEM+ 2005 GTI DSG (high factory standard spec and upgraded with S3 alloy hubs, S3 alloy wishbones, Bilstein B8s and VWR springs by my own hands) owned since 2008 and still loving it!

Mine's a pretty boring one. Reset the service reminder with VCDS and reprogrammed it to flash up every 10000 miles. (Was on 5000 for some reason?)

Still got boost gauge to fit and a few stone chips to touch-up on the bonnet!

So. After long waiting I finally managed to fit new Instrument Cluster into my car. They are from Scirocco R-line and as You can see they are UK version in miles. Everything works fine, all MK6 MFSW buttons works on that.

And I have the Bluetooth display on the clocks too. The only one disadvantage of the new clocks is I lost Light&Vision and Convenience menu because those two modules use different protocol to communicate with the instrument (BAP).
STAGING/NEEDLE SWEEP ON ALL WHITE CLOCKS
LIT NEEDLESS, MILES TO EMPTY
GENUINE CAN GATEWAY - SUPPLY AND FIT
CRUISE CONTROL -  SUPPLY AND FIT ALL VW's
CLOCKS CODING - VW SEAT SKODA UP TO 2014
SCIROCCO CLOCKS CONVERSION
