Just fitted one of these Makes a big difference when reversing onto the drive at night

They're a bit dodgy these.  Mine flashes repetitively every now and again which isn't very good and it doesn't seem as bright as it first did.

No issue's with mine, had it fitted for 6 months now, will keep an eye on it - don't want to get caught flashing :ashamed:

I noticed yours flashed Mike when I was down at AKS. Wondered if it was supposed to do it for reason lol.

No I keep meaning to take them out. I've emailed the place I bought them just haven't had time to return them

Stuck some gtechniq on the windows.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Well more yesterday than today...

I started the tedious job, of removing the wheel arch liners, removing any packedin/compacted built up mud behind them, giving arches a wash, scrubbing the mould/dirt off the rear of the liners, scrubbing the build up of mud, hay, grass, tar of the front side of the wheel liners, drying both arches and liner, removing any tar spots, undersealing a section where the paint had lifted due to being under compacted dry mud, sealing and refitting the arch liner...

1 Down, 3 more to go, but will be safe in the knowledge the chassis is clean and not rotting due to mud getting in behind the arch liners, and holding moisture against the body... I would advise anyone doing the same...

Any people shy away from buying a car from an enthusiast...  :signLOL:

^^^Dom - is it just a few torx bolts to take the liner off, following removal of the wheel??

I need to do this too, not looking forward to it as it'll probably take a day!

Cheers
