:signLOL:  well lets just say you and my brother inspired me to change to carbon from white as i now have R32 brakes in yellow. felt the white gloss was a bit random, especially since my gti brakes were white before. yours is looking well too Robin!

i only wanted to wrap them as they had been damaged by the previous owner and the KEYS hitting against the aluminium.

Just fitted one of these Makes a big difference when reversing onto the drive at night

They're a bit dodgy these.  Mine flashes repetitively every now and again which isn't very good and it doesn't seem as bright as it first did.
Mine started flashing (only when reversing though) :signLOL:  Now removed

Surprising just how good and complementary the texture of the carbon vinyl trim looks with the other interior finishes on the Mk5 - It doesn't look applied at all.  :happy2:

You mean it looks like I haven't wrapped it and it's genuine carbon fibre Robin?

I'm not into glossy carbon fibre personally think it looks a bit naff. But then I don't like gloss paintwork at home so probably stems from the dislike of that kind of finish.

I really would like a go at doing my silver ash tray but want to replace that with the non smoking version (don't think the one previous owner smoked anyway as lighter was brand new when I got it after them owning it since new for 6 years!!!)
And my gears tick  surround. seen one done and looks ace!

Where's that company you used based Robin? Maybe get someone to do those really tricky bits for me!!

Down at SRR this morning.

Made 289.6bhp which I'm quite happy with as I thought it would make 275.

Is that just with a map?

....Shouldn't you be stiffening, not softening things up for playing on B-roads?
