Looks nice m8...

How do you find the ride compared to the std springs... I am thinking of lowering mine and that looks like the kind of drop i would like... sort of holding back as the last thing i want to do is make it to hard which would ruin it for me (kinda old now)

Do you have the part no for the springs ? and how much were they fitted  (PM if you like) cheers

Having done a 100 or so miles since fitting today, the ride comfort is pretty similar to factory springs over the bumps and rumbles.  Defo not too firm or crashy and i'm on 35 profile tyres.

Well I cracked my tooth, had it extracted, dentist left abit of root filling in my gum after grinding BONE away to get to it!!! Got infected, so has tooth below.... Thought it was time I had a blast in the car!! :driver:

Then got a puncture on the rear wheel and lost my wallet. What a day! :sad1:

Well today I've been up at AKS Tuning getting H&R springs fitted along with a Superpro Antilift Kit, Oh and the revised Revo map with Linear throttle.  Big thanks to Alex, very pleased with how the car drives and looks.  :jumpmove: :jumpmove:

Heres a before picture, taken this morning on arrival at AKS

And now a couple of after pics taken on my way home   :jumpmove:
(sorry very dirty due to weather today  :fighting:).

Well chuffed, just need them to settle in a little more now.

AMAZIN Chris  :congrats:

Like others have said, they REALLY suit the car  :star:

I have the dentist tomorrow.

Can't you just drop them off in the morning and pick them up later?

Forum sticker on!
Question is, do I get a matching one for the other side or just leave it at that?

Today I drove my Mk5 GTI 492 miles with 1 hour break and I only feel tired now that I'm back home.

All types of roads, 28 mpg. Only rants are the usual ones about drivers who don't follow lane discipline and who hog the overtaking lane at 65 mph (on my GPS speedo).

^^^Agree about other drivers. Discovered a cool road a few days ago. Dual carriageway but almost no traffic. Right up until there's some dozy git trying to "overtake" a lorry by going 1mph faster!  :fighting:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

If you ever see me doing that in the Lupo, it isn't because my foot isn't to the floor lol.
Bloody thing.

If you can't overtake safely and with the correct speed, should you be overtaking at all?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

^^^^ did you stick it on top of the VW emblem or remove the VW one?  Like that one you've got but not sure how easy it is to get the original one off.
