Changed my brakes to S3 ones all round, that had been refurbed in black.

Shame I lose the red 345mm OEM fronts but the black looks good on a Steel Grey.

Did a brake fluid flush and couldn't believe how manky the old fluid was once I used VCDS to purge the ABS pump

I bet that does look good! Pics? Really need an S3 rear setup in black for mine...

Finished taking off each wheel in turn, washing, de-tarring, claying, polishing and sealing each wheel... Then washed the car and clayed my boot lid and top of the rear bumper... few more days in the garage getting the rest done before going back to work...

Full Service & Mot for me, all passed with ease.

Had plugs, and even fuel filter changed even though dealers were stating that it never needs doing.

Fitted the dreaded high level rear brake light.... :fighting:

This was the only pic I took as I got to 'into' fitting it!

Just needs a bit of sealant now round the edges and it's good to go.

Probably the poorest design on the vehicle, that. Mine was replaced under warranty, and I was shocked when they had to tear off/demolish the spoiler to get at it properly, and then repaint and re-cement on a brand new spoiler and light.

Agreed. There was no way I was shelling out £400 for the privilege so I got hold of the guide and done it myself. As long as it stays put I will be happy! lol
