Nearly got done for speeding... Down the exit road, last blast to empty the exhaust like you do, but didn't realise in lane 3 was an unmarked BMW 535D then trying to keep up my exit. Fortunately I'd already slowed to 70moh before he could get behind me.so I got the cruise alongside me and the evil No head shake.he then carried on his way....lesson learned..

....Nice to hear of another unmarked car crew using their discretion. They usually have more road experience (especially if solo) and can very quickly recognise what's going on.

Nicely done.

Are you opening your fogs yourself? If so I can show you what/how I did mine;

What bulbs have you got in your full beam? Got a link to them?

Yes I do. They are yellow H7 bulbs;

Looks smart that!

Definately going for the laminex'd fog's myself!

Are the yellow full beam bulbs legal to run in the UK?

I wish I knew that. I do get more attention flashing the yellows at somebody so they will wake up and drive. You know the ones doing 10+ mph under the max in the quick lane, yes?

I think that they aren't road legal in the UK.

^^^^ Idiot.  :stupid:

^^^^ x 2 !!

An unrestricted German autobahn is the place to do that and not in the UK where you get an instant ban for over 100 mph.

Besides, the OEM speedo's are not accurate enough to give you that bragging right.

There are places and times when 130 on a UK public road can be physically safe in the right car, but.

Well the door lights finally arrived from Bold Sport along with the new LED boards they make to fit.

Took apart the front and rear door cards on monday, couldnt get them to work and had a friend of mine who works at VW take a look. and with a little modification magic by me (wiring skills) they are up and running!
Couldnt of done it without his knowledge though!

only got fronts done for now, as backs are different, finished at like 11.30pm tonight but hey now i can sleep!

also i have the Valeo LED rear lights, and he coded them so only the outer ring is lit for side lights and the brake lights only come on when brake is pressed. i have the OEM ring look again which i prefer.

oh and auto locking of doors enabled over 5mph is it? anyway thats on too which i think should've come on as standard from the factory.

anyone here done the puddle lights on the rear doors? or know how to get them to work? pins 1 and 2 are the ones i used. on the fronts i had to tap into the earth/brown cable from pin 2 to the light or it wouldnt work. ive looked at that many wires tonight i cant remember if it would work the same way on the backs or not. the controllers different.
