Pics?

Matto, fitted behind my winter 17's that really could do with a clean. ;)

The only downside was that when fitting them we had to swap the fluid pipes from one end to another, you know so that the smallest piston is first. One side went fine but the other had been cross-threaded and stripped threads! Goes to show that if you deal with flighty people you get a shoddy over priced service!

Looking good mate  :happy2: Can't wait to get my S3's on later in the year.

My Cupra/R32/S3 kit will be hitting the for sale section once they've been cleaned up.

Car passed its MOT after I had to replace the current wheels which I am planning to use for the Winter with my newly purchased Monza 2 shadows that I was planning on keeping for the summer :sad1: Original 17inch Monza fronts were a bit treadless!

Will be driving very carefully until I sort my winter tyres :happy2:

Also headlight alignment was way out and the only reason I can think this happened was I had my two front wings replaced under warranty last year and VW did not align them after :fighting: Just wondered if anyone else had found the same?

Yeah, it's great stuff! I applied it a few weeks back and am loving it. I've found that if you drive above certain speeds you can even go without wipers in the rain.

Passed its MOT today without any advisorys  :driver:

I was worried about the emissions with having a 200 cell sports cat but was almost half the limit.

Very strong!

Think I may know of another use for them, press the boot button and it literally throws off tailgaiters!
How hard can it be?

I took 7 full garden refuse sacks to the local council tip in the Ed30 this afternoon, twigs, leaves, trimmings and general garden detritus. It occurred to me I've never seen a suitable solution to protect the car's interior when transporting muck and rubbish. Very conscious of the potential for scratching the plastics or putting a hole in the headlining..... There are various websites and shops on eBay that sell high sided boot liners - anyone have one?
Otherwise, I may make my own!

Went to a right dodgy garage in Dunstable to buy a replacement for my mate's 900 quid 1997 528i

He bought.......

A 1997 528i!!!!!! For £675 with a year's ticket!!!

It's immaculate, and this one's a manual so goes really well too. It's such a good car!!!

He's a dedicated follower of James Ruppert and his 'Bangernomics' which I also love. He's getting 300 for his old one, so for 375 cost to change,, he's back on the road. I love this depreciation-beating motoring.

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.
Gone but not forgotten : mk2 Golf GTI 16v, mk4 Golf V6 4Motion, mk5 GTI Storm Developments Stage 1, mk5 GTI Revo Stage 1, BMW 330ci, Skoda Octavia VRS Revo Stage 2, BMW Z4 Sdrive35i.

....I got my second one separately. But the trouble is that I don't remember where - It might have been second hand from QD.

It's got to be worth a phone call to a Parts Manager at a VW dealership.
