Full fk shocks and springs fitted new top strut mounts all round and new suspension links

Made a really big difference nice handling and road comfort really suprised at them and at 90 pounds delivered  for shocks and springs not too bad only had 1 problem had to cut a little of the metal insert on hub as bolt would not go thro but nothing to worry about :-)

Few more things to do and will get some pics up on a nice day with now snow :)

I had another flexi pipe welded into my exhaust. I split the last one when I smashed my sump :sad1:

I also had another small box welded in for good measure :)

I also spotted some ultimate camber haha!

Yesterday I picked up a new number plate from Cool Air in Erith. This is to replace the one the got mashed by a fellow road user when they reversed into me at a traffic lights the other day... :(

^^^^
'VW57 GLF' = Very nice plate  :happy2: Mine's a 'VW05' so I would say that wouldn't I.

I take it that GLF stands for Golf and not something rude!

Why would someone reverse at a traffic lights - Did they overshoot? A good driver would be extra careful if they felt the need to reverse at traffic lights. I bet your heart sank until you got out and inspected the damage to see it was only the plate.

Yes, it's meant to read as Golf. However, when the missus saw it for the first time she said "GILF??".  Had to laugh. Since then that's how we've referred to her (the car that is).

It was an unusual incident to be fair.

We'd all pulled away from a temp set of lights with the roadworks on our side of the road and before we'd cleared the roadworks a fire engine appeared coming towards us. The car in front stopped, as did I, and I thought that the fire engine could work his way through no problems. Then the reverse lights came on in front of me so I leaned on the horn... Too late though...

Just a new plate and mounting plinth required. Bumper is fine thankfully, sitting exactly where it should be. And the owners of the other car have been very apologetic and helpful in getting it sorted.

....I like your missus's 'durty' mind - Hang on to her!

....Which totally proves that one shouldn't ever judge an incident without first learning ALL the circumstances.  :happy2:

The W is winter mode. It dumbs down the power and throttle response to reduce the chance of wheelspi (we have snow here at the min). I'm not 100% but I believe only the GT170's came with it.

Couple of inches of snow in East Sussex, Summer Tyres and Steep Driveway meant I was going no where today. Somehow the snow has cleaned my wheels though?

The last photo kind of reminds me of a Christmas Card for some reason?
