Got my Goodyear F1v2s fitted... much much quieter, and they seem to grip well even though they are not srcubbed yet.

Compared to?

Compared to the old GY F1v2s which had about 1mm of tread left.  :happy2:

It's a relief for me not having to be so careful getting in and out loading tools in the boot. It's a vauxhall i will just throw stuff in without thinking haha :D

turns out buying a new DV just as a precaution, was a great idea.

Ive had te car a year now and ive been meanin to do this for at least 6months now. I wonder if its been like this ever sonce ive owned it!! Camt wait to pick it up from my mate after work now!!

Did you feel, with the response of the car, that the DV might have failed?

I will be changing mine to the rev G next week just befor getting it remapped :happy2:

restored my Xenon Headlamps on my Ed30 today.

4 hrs later and very satisfied cheaply

Well tbh mate, the car has always felt fast because i moved from a mk4 1.6 but have noticed it being a bit laggy on the turbo. just thought thats how it was.

i guess when i pick it up ill see the difference!

but for the sake of £40 odd quid its got to be worth it for piece of mind and to know that its done and out the way!

Passed its MOT today with no advisories!!
fitted the rs4 coil packs, autotech hpfp internals and the neuspeed p-flo CAI!!

 :grin:
