Fitted the new grab handles and last of chrome switches
Looking much nicer now!

Nice, does it make a lot of difference visually?  I'm planning this.
I have a new drivers side grab handle and I've done the A/C dial surrounds which look great for the money... no, they look great even if they were £50.
link says £8.50 for the cchrome a/c rings ? is it the same ones you have fitted ?
was looking to get some but wasnt sure on the quality being so cheap
 :drinking:

They are good quality to be fair mate.

The only negs are that they stick out a little, but I knew this before purchase, and as you're probably thinking, hmm they will look nafff... they really don't, and will suit the rest of your chrome mods very nicely.  And secondly they are from China/HK... although this really isn't a problem these days if your willing to wait a bit... think they took around 7 working days for me.
is that from the same seller yeah ?
i have seen some higher prices, up to £40 or so which led me to believe that some where way better than others - maybe not though
thanks again

Yes they are the exact listing that I bought.

Can't really comment on the quality of more expensive ones, but I tend to believe there's someone inbetween making a quick buck... and them turning out to be exactly the same thing.

At £8, it really is worth a pop with the aforementioned info.  :happy2:

I will getting mine fitted next week just before remapping, going to cost £25 for fitting, which I thought was reasonable :happy2:

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned it made a big difference because both my old handles had lots of marks and scratches and they ruined the look of the interior. The switches make it look a bit smarter and match nicely with all the original chrome bits. Probably just get used to it, but it does look much better now!
where the grab handles just a straight like for like swap or have you some kind of visually different ones ?

Straight swap yeah. Although they are maybe very slightly lighter grey, but prob just cos the others were well aged!

I could feel mine was gone. Just had it replaced for a revision G by an independent for £98. But that included finding and clearing the fault codes.

....They don't normally increase power. So I can only think that your old DV had an undetected leak in the diaphram which could have reduced power - Not uncommon.

Well the old was was shagged, if you see the picture a page or two back you will see what i mean. so the whole time i had it i recon it has been like this because now it feels amazing!

Nice! I've got the same tax disc holder. Hmm, now would it be rude to steal that idea?
