Today I have changed the door control module which was made so much easier due the guide ub7rm posted  :congrats:!

Tomorrow, remove shuttle and clean out dead leaves twigs. Adjust the position of the windscreen wipers (windscreen repair guys didn't  get it quite right but didn't scratch/damage the paintwork) Duct tape hole in engine cover cover whilst I consider buying a new one. Fit new centre cap, oil cap and wipers. Followed by a quick wash and wax! If I get chance I'll also like to rotate the tyres

Next week Cambelt, water pump, service, and mot.

Right day off today, so got up and decided to give my car its first (pre) spring clean. Road trip last week up country when it was snowing means it was covered in salt and road grit / dirt....hence the before photo.

Before :sad1:

After a good few hours of washing, polishing, waxing, sealing, etc, etc, etc I got it back to its former glory.

AFTER!
My freshly polished bonnet

I had previously played with the rear lights to get the rear afterburner look. Wiring the rear inner lights up through the tailgate with the wiring for the rear wiper motor and back down to the rear light. Using the BMW 21w bulbs that most their new 3-Series use mean a night consistent glow throughout the rear light units. Sorry about the poor quality of this photo....done on my phone with the light getting dark. But you get the point.....!

Just put a small GTI Fast Decal on my tax disc holder... It's the little touches

Nice! I've got the same tax disc holder. Hmm, now would it be rude to steal that idea?

ha-ha... I think It'd be rude not to! Looks pretty cool! I was pondering as to where to put it, then I had a light bulb moment...lol. My Fast is now with me

Looks good, how many bulbs? The one closest in the picture looks quite obvious where the bulbs are but i bet looks better in real life? Hard to do?

Was a bit of a ball ache.....lots of trim to get behind / remove but worth it inthe end. Yea, the picture makes it obvious where the bulbs are but the camera emphises this. In reality there is a smiliar glow to the outers.

I used two bulbs in each inner light unit.

Made the most of the Sunny dry weather today, spent 4 hours cleaning up Phylis..

used Autobrite snow foam, Meguires Gold Class, AG New formula Resin Polish 2 coats. 1 Coat of Nattys Red Paste wax, and a quick spray over of Zaino Z6/Z8.

Every time I see of pic of Phylis (may I call her Phylis), she gets better!  :notworthy:

I've just written down that assortment of products. What do you make of the Zaino products? do they really make a difference, read a few things with peeps raving about the longevity of the Z6 and the shine of the Z-8 as the LSP.

As always, great effort mate.

I've just been introduced to them from a friend who's an avid Detailer, he's now in John Zaino's pocket now so to speak, so gets lots off him whatever he wants.
He used to use Meguires alot, but he says its brilliant, but after spraying that combo on together , it made us both go "wow!"

If you checkout Maxloads car Ed30, was also done with all Zaino's products..

Thankyou for your kind words.  :happy2:

Was going to Clean and Protect the car today along with fitting a few bits I've got sitting in the garage. Went outside and decided it was was too cold so now back inside with a beer waiting for a day of Rugby!
 :pomppomp: :popcornsoda: :pomppomp:
lol good move, roads are so dirty as well, all i am doing just now is pressure wash, snow foam and rinse, let the wax before the winter came in do its job until this snow clears.
bet you enjoyed your beer lol  :drinking:
