Went out to a Road Safety Awareness meet last night. Parked up in amongst the Jap lads and annoyed them! :happy2:

....I thought that those 'meets' were for those who had been caught speeding and were taking the lecture rather than the points.
Hahaha! :congrats:

This was an organised event with Council and Police attendance due to a few recent deaths of young lads on the local roads. Was fund raising for the bereaved families to arrange memorials etc! Was a good night with some HUGE cars and was nice to see the mutual respect shown between the youngsters and the local Police. :happy2:

Should be a bit more if that eh  :happy2:

Nice. I would love to see how some white or red in the rear badge background would look on a set-up like yours. <My curiosity speaking...not being critical of your beauty ;p

Has anyone here had those tails with red Lamin-x over them? I loved mine in red, but had to remove when I purchased the rear fog and installed it.

Used the head light 3M kit as well today, after seeing it on here. Think I didn't use a good enough (speed wise) drill initially, as although its not too bad, it took a lot with the final 3000 grit to get it clear. Ordered a second kit to do it again with the more powerful drill.

Had the Valeo LED rear light units coded to give the "Polo/Doughnut" effect when the lights come on. Looks über cool, need to get the inner units done now and added. Thanks Si.  :notworthy:

Only got the 1ltr oil bag not the oil as dealers are expensive  :scared:

Check eurocarparts as they have big discounts on usually for oil  :happy2:

you know what i was thinking that myself regarding the red on the tail badge,
like yourself not criticising its beauty but just before i read your reply i thought the same thing,
was thinking a red background to the badge would look great.
I think if i owned a white gti either red or black alloys most def
