Fitted new high level brake light. Probably wasnt a good idea doing it in freezing weather with numb fingers!  :laugh:

Fitted my new battery and got my remap put back on  :happy2: Oh and activated the boot pop, even in the cold and on a hill, it works well  :drinking:

Went to VW to order a part today. The guy showed me his nob!  :surprised:










Fortunately it was a gear knob.    Didn't fit a mk5 tho it was from a 2010 polo gti. He thought I'd be interested if my knob was showing signs of wear!

Took the edy to VW to get an AUX cable retrofitted so now I have sounds in my car. :smiley:

Fitted a new maf sensor since i was getting 50mpg on the trip and 41mpg calculated!

Are they matching now? I thought that they were measured over different periods of time. One was over 48 hours or something and the other a running total?

Dont know, will report back next week once ive done some mileage! i do a point to point mpg on the trip! done a long journey then filled up to calculate it!

Replaced my faulty inlet camshaft control valve  -N205- as the electrical connection was snapped. This meant that the signal was intermittent, and on high boost the car would go into a kind of semi-limp mode!

was tricky to get out and ill need another screw as i dropped it in the engine bay somewhere. tricky one to fit that, what with a metal static pipe in the way. thanks VW.

Why did you have to reload the map? Is that typical with Revo?

Why did you have to reload the map? Is that typical with Revo?

The map stays on it but the settings reset their self.  :wink:
