As with most of the Milltek backboxes (except the newer ones), they have the tendency to hang below the bumper. I'm not sure whether this one will or won't so had it powder coated just in case so it won't stand out like a sore thumb  :happy2:

Yeah good idea. The low hanging backbox was the reason I was put off by the Milly when looking for my zorst.

Went and picked up the glass tv stand I won off eBay the other night for 1p...

The guy wasn't impressed but fair play to him for not kicking up a fuss haha

Matto did you not consider VWR back box,as it dsnt hang low below the reaer bumper,its made by millteck exclusively for vwr so the same quality as what you have,i bought vwr full tbe and cant complain

i've not seen a guide just made it up as I went along. The base plates for the mk6 mirrors need making bigger to match the mk5 ones then (not for the faint hearted) you have to drill your door for the new mounting holes on the mk6 mirror. Wiring is the same. And a bonus is the mk5 mirrors can go back on at any time if I decide to sell etc. I'm going to colour code the covers this weekend.
