Yeah bud good job! I just found out last time I took the panel off that its easier to put it back on from the bottom edge than the windscreen edge!

Went to listen the stereo while cleaning the car (bearing in mind it hasn't moved in 2 weeks!) , audio quality was crackly and crap.
Went to start the car, my wipers started jumping about, airbag light, immobilisor fault, loads of clicky noises, needles jumping, illuminati
ng then going dark, MFD having loads of lines across it

Bearing in mind when I detailed the car last weekend, I did the engine bay.. First thought was "crap, bricked ECU...".

Stole the housemates car, spun it round on the drive to hook the battery up via jumpers, started into life.. no faults - boom! Plus my radio returned to full quality haha.
As last time I was working on it, had doors open for about 5 hours as well as iPod playing (charging at the same time) so probably drained the battery.. No biggy.

Also somehow had a bulb-out warning, traced it out to my rear-right indicator, as car is off road no rush to replace but hopefully tomorrow anyway..  :indifferent:

^^^
Ended up in the same position a few weeks ago when changing my HU. Was playing around with it for about 45mins after fitting, and the car hadn't been driven/started for a week. Tried to start it the next morning and nothing...then all the fault lights came on, thought sh*t wtf. But hooked up the jump leads to my old mans golf and all good again
