Even Popeye likes to take it easy in his later years

Cheers, I'm happy how it's looking now.

I've just used cable ties through the original mounting plate atm as I'm not sure really what to do with it... I didn't like it where it was but I'm not liking putting it behind the windscreen either. Might try a U.S spec. plate on there which will match my soon-to-be-fitted rear... It's a tough call  :rolleye:

How come you've put it on without it being sprayed yet?

I wasn't sure if it was genuine or not so I put it on and it fit perfectly, so I guess that it is. I had to put the bumper back on as it was coming toward the end of the day. I will take it back off and stick my painted GTi on again for now.

Fitted a BSH intake... Still yet to take it for a drive.

Got things to do but the suspense is overwhelming!

Platidipped the .:R grill yesterday, forgot to buy primer for the silver parts so had to peel off the horizontal slates and ran out of platidipp, chipped the bumper on refitting....and Plastidipp started to peel away on the corners....all in all a rather productive Bank Holiday Monday

No longer does it look like a Jetta but more like a GT Sport

Totally skint and now have to get a new tyre as my back one has not one, but two nails in it  :fighting:

One of the nails can be repaired but the other went into the side wall so have to get a new tyre... such a waste of a Pilot Sport 3!! :fighting: :fighting: :fighting:

I thought that with Mike finally taking his car home, I might be able to get some work done on mine. OK only warranty but it needed doing.

Nicely surprised to get an average MPG of 46.4 on the way up there, sadly not the same on the way back.
