My e-brake began to feel quite chunky when it is released. I can even feel it through the console. I tried to remove the console to take a look and decide if I can fix it or not. But, I couldn't get the thing off. I only found three screws and removed them...but there's more to it than that ;|

Was in the local VW dealership yesterday ordering a cam follower and mentioned to the guy about the Rev D diverter valve they sold me 6 weeks ago and he ordered me a Rev G and will be refunding me the difference between the 2. Thanks to MC71 and Saintsteve for informing me that the original vw parts muppet was totally wrong when he insisted that the Rev D was the right one for my GTI (even though I had given him the part number for the Rev G).

Got a text just now telling me my parts are have arrived. ..Rev G dv being fitted tonight :happy2:

They had it Tuesday at closing time and had it done in a day.

The spec is:
S3 inter cooler
Uprated fuel pump
Itg maxogen
Full milltek with 200 cell cat

Mapped at rtech to 362bhp, 374tq with a slight boost leak that I now need to sort and then go back so it can be logged and rechecked.
Very happy with it, it's a bit of a beast now but very drivable with the linear throttle map. Previous unknown map was running at 326 with a boost spike I hated.

Great result, and their linear remap is awesome.

On Monday night I helped my mate out - he'd broken down (fuel pumps had seized) - took down a spare pump (turned out the in tank one was scrap too!) and the solid tow bar (just in case) - couldn't get him started - so ended up towing him home.

This is what I towed:-

Removed my Rev.C diverter valve. Looks in good condition to be honest but will order a Rev.G to replace it with
